I am a registered naturopathic doctor in the state of Colorado with a general practice serving Boulder and the surrounding communities. I practice with an understanding that the way we live has the greatest potential to prevent disease and afford health. Furthermore, what we eat, how we move & breathe, what we think and believe are all within our control. In my approach to medicine, I utilize various therapeutic modalities including botanical medicine, food-as-medicine, selective nutritional supplementation, hydrotherapy (immune stimulating use of hot & cold water applications), and lifestyle counseling.
I received my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine with a certificate in Naturopathic Obstetrics from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR. Following graduation I interned in a family practice specializing in women’s health, naturopathic obstetrics, and pediatrics. Before the state of Colorado registered naturopathic doctors in 2014, I maintained a license in the state of Oregon.
The practice of medicine is exciting and invigorating, and I am dedicated to ongoing educational endeavors in order to provide my patients with thorough, investigated, and individualized care.
In my free time I especially enjoy running, riding my bike, cooking, and spending time with my husband and 2 boys, who keep me learning.
