Services Offered

General care:

While the state of Colorado does not currently license or regulate naturopathic doctors, licensed Naturopaths are trained as primary care providers. In the current state of Colorado, I offer adjunctive, specialized, and complementary care and ask that my patients maintain a relationship with a Colorado licensed primary care provider.

Preconception planning as well as prenatal and postpartum care.

Research suggests that the state of health of both mother and father preconception affects the strength of the immune system of the baby. The mother’s diet and nutritional status preconception and throughout gestation has myriad effects on the fetus and then child. I utilize natural therapies such as nutritional counseling, herbs and homeopathy to facilitate a healthy pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. Additionally, I can help women plan for the post-partum period as well as offer care and support during this transition.

Immunization Counseling:

I offer immunization counseling based on a “scientifically holistic” approach to infectious disease and vaccinations. The schedules I recommend are based on four scientific and holistic cornerstones:

  • Timing of vaccines – Administering vaccines at a point when the immune system can mount the most appropriate response.
  • Individual susceptibility – The individual risk factors for the disease, the infant’s health and the health habits of the parents.
  • The danger imposed on the child if they acquire the infection.
  • Effective ways to both prevent and treat infections.

Kitchen Cupboard Consulting:

Ever wish someone could just come into your kitchen and help you see what you are doing that is great and where you need some improvement? Let good food be your medicine, and get the junk out. I will meet you at your house, take inventory of what you have on hand, teach you to read labels, and then make shopping and dietary suggestions for your particular health goals and risk factors.
